With its studio and offices in Rockport, Massachusetts, Yesterday's News completed its first historical documentary in 1990. Since 1994, we have produced sixteen major presentations and dozens of smaller ones for non-profit cultural organizations throughout New England, becoming a non-profit corporation ourselves in January, 1995. Almost sixty percent of our presentations have been designed for the use of historical organizations, including museums, historical societies, and historic homes and sites. Other clients are community and educational organizations, visual and performing artists and state parks. Increasingly, our productions have found a national audience through distribution of our educational programs and national broadcast on The History Channel.

Orientation pieces we've produced are currently shown at eight Massachusetts museums. Our videos have been a component in five museum exhibits, including Boston's Old State House and the Commonwealth Museum, and at least five of our presentations are currently shown in Massachusetts schools, including the Massachusetts College of Art.

Our productions continue to meet industry standards of excellence. Six Yesterday's News presentations have been selected for broadcast nationally on The History Channel's "American Showcase", and others have appeared on Boston's WCVB-TV5 and New Hampshire Public Television (WENH-TV). Four Yesterday's News productions were Telly Award finalists for outstanding non-networking programming: "Northern Forest Heritage Park: Campaign for Heritage" in 1996, "The Orchard House Orientation" in 1997 and both "The Mayflower's Story" and "Visual Gifts: The Sculpture of George Greenamyer" in 1998. In May 1996, after technical and artistic examination by the Federal Review Board, Yesterday's News was placed on the Qualified Producer's List of the Federal Audiovisual Contract Management Office. This qualifies us to bid on future video productions of the federal government, including those for national parks and national historic sites. Yesterday's News shoots on Sony DSR-200 DVCAM digital cameras, and uses Avid's MCXpress
